Why I Started Tutoring Chemistry
Chemistry can be challenging, but with the right guidance, it becomes easy to understand and even enjoyable to learn. I started Joy Oyebisi Tutoring to help students overcome their struggles with Chemistry and build the confidence they need to excel.
Every student is unique, which is why I tailor my teaching approach to meet individual learning styles and needs. My goal is not just to help students pass exams but to truly understand Chemistry and feel empowered in their academic journey.
Meet Joy
Hi, I’m Joy Oyebisi, a passionate Chemistry tutor, educator, mentor, and coach. I hold a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry and have over 5 years of teaching and tutoring experience, helping students from diverse backgrounds succeed in Chemistry. Thanks to the power of online learning, I’ve had the privilege of working with students from different countries, schools, and academic levels.
Beyond tutoring, I’m a published researcher with academic papers in peer-reviewed and open-access journals. I also create Chemistry tutorial videos on YouTube. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy life as a wife and proud mom of three amazing boys.
My online Chemistry classes are interactive, engaging, and fun. I focus on simplifying complex concepts, helping students apply what they’ve learned to real exam questions, and fostering critical thinking skills.
In addition to my academic background, I have 5 years of industry experience in Quality Assurance, Health, Safety, and Environment. I believe in continuous self-improvement and am committed to growing both as an educator and a learner.
